UNCOVERING THE TRUTH THROUGH SUBTLE INTERROGATION

Lie detection is more of an active process then passive one. The process of detection is really two-fold. First, you need to be able to accurately discern an individuals emotional state. Second, you may need to use very subtle interrogation methods to try and uncover a lie. While everyone lies, study after study has shown that lying is one of the least desirable traits. Accusing someone of lying can immediately shut down communication. Before making a correct assumption, it is important to gather as much information as possible, you will learn just exactly how to do that.

  • learn never before taught interrogation techniques
  • practice your interrogation methods on class participants
  • observe real time interrogations

TEST: CAN YOU TELL WHICH STORY IS TRUE AND WHY?

THE WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, AND WHY OF DECEPTION

We will discuss the various types of lies and take a greater look at why lying is such a part of our culture. We will discuss the mediums in which people are more or less likely to lie, and discuss what types of personalities and in what situations people are more likely to lie. We will also discuss the various methods of lie detection through biofeedback. Including the polygraph, fMRI, and EEG.
